TCA Summer Experience TEACHERS

Do you have things you’re passionate about? Do you love working with kids? Are there experiences that our youth are missing?

We are seeking dynamic leaders to join The Community Academy team as Summer Experience Teachers.

As a Summer Experience Teacher you will be co-teaching groups of youth through interdisciplinary community projects. You don’t have to be the content expert – just a life-long learner who is excited to learn alongside kids to do meaningful things that meet the needs of our community and fit our mission: More Nature, More Authentic, More Community.

This person is a team player, a strong educator with classroom management experience for groups of at least 10-18 kids, and an innovator who is inspired by this unique opportunity.  As a Summer Experience Teacher with The Community Academy you are also expected to be involved with some planning outside of program hours.

TCA BUS DRIVER

Do you have at least 2 year of experience driving a school bus? Do you love working with kids?

We are seeking adults who are excited to get kids engaged throughout our community to join The Community Academy team as BUS DRIVERS for Summer Experience 2024 (June 10th through August 2nd). This person is a team player, someone who cares about the development of youth, and is inspired by this unique opportunity.

The weekly excursions are scheduled as needed, so there isn’t a consistent daily routine.

We are seeking a passionate community member to join The Community Academy team as a Communications Intern. You’ll work alongside a team of teachers to tell the stories of youth engaged in a variety of projects, experiences, and activities as part of TCA’s Summer Experience 2024. We don’t expect you to be the expert at everything, but be willing to learn many things in order to communicate about The Community Academy.
